Background
In the relentless pursuit of making Stellar the best in the business Joe has become a key figure in the scaffolding industry. 

Previously a football agent, Joe started Stellar in early 2018 and very quickly established himself by securing high profile projects which were completed to the highest standard. 

Now a rising figure within scaffolding and with an ever growing profile online Joe’s monstrous plans for Stellar are there for all to see.

Role – MD running the whole company, pushing the boundaries and ensuring the company is stable throughout its growth. In December 2024 Joe also became the sole director of the business. 

Hobbies
Football, gym, business, being abroad or overdoing sun-beds when at home.

Shaun Ballard

Contracts Manager

Background

My typical day involves running all the operations of men lorries and materials and meeting new and existing clients and trying to keep the company as streamline as possible 

I have been with stellar since the start with a brief gap about 5 years ago 

What I enjoy most is its always something I have always wanted to do and I love to keep busy and this role certainly keeps me busy

Gym and spending time with my daughter

Kieran Ratcliff

Foreman Advanced Scaffolder

Background
I am an Advanced Scaffolder and Foreman for Stellar Scaffolding.  I am responsible for the daily running of the various teams and decision maker.

I have been with Stellar since the end of 2023 this time round having worked with them previously for 2 years.

I mostly enjoy running projects, having to be technical to keep my brain motivated; I love leading the team from the frontline on the various domestic, commercial and contract projects we cover.

Hobbies
In my free time I like spending time with my family, going regularly to the gym, fishing and watching the mighty Chelsea. 

Favourite food is the traditional roast with all the trimmings

Andy Brown

Health & Safety Inspector

Background

My primary role as a Health and Safety Inspector is to ensure that the scaffolding structures and workspaces comply with health and safety regulations and laws. I achieve this by conducting regular inspections, identifying hazards, assessing risks, and providing guidance on safety measures and compliant to TG20 or design.

I regularly inspect scaffolds to ensure they are compliant to TG20 or design and making sure the high standards of quality finish to our scaffolds are always maintained.  I joined Stellar in 2024 and thoroughly enjoy working with the lads and diverse projects that Stellar cover.   I  get a great deal of satisfaction of knowing the lads are doing a good job.

Golf clubs, dumbbell’s listening to the radio especially Centerforce!!

Amanda Johnson

Head of Accounts

Background

My responsibilities and tasks are various relating to the financial running of this rapidly growing business.  I have been with Stellar for a number of years, but have many years of successful experience with finance prior across a wide range of sectors.

My biggest challenge is ⁠always busy trying to keep Joe on the straight and narrow, never dull and I feel as if I make a big difference to the business

⁠I love to spending time with my family, knitting, painting, being outdoors and looking after my furry grand dog

I also love to listen to music and reading books.

Tracy Greyling

PA to Joe and Shaun

Background

As Personal Assistant to both Joe and Shaun, I am always on call to cover whatever they require, from scheduling, emails, booking meetings etc. I am primarily involved in all aspects of admin; there is a lot of the background works that I do as well, such as quotes, invoices and any paperwork required for the clients. I am fresh to Stellar and have been with here since the Spring of 2025. I love that the job keeps me busy and challenges me to learn new things every day. The team, here at Stellar Scaffolding, is amazing to work with too!

Hobbies
⁠I love painting, gardening and spending time with family.  If I was stuck on an island the three thinks that I would take with me are my kids, art supplies and a survival kit.
